A European response to next generation ICT

EIF Breakfast Debate

The Digital World in 2025: The Technology Dimension and Europe's strengths and weaknesses.

Whereas the EIF dinner on the previous evening will address some of the key technological developments which will impact the European society and business environment, this breakfast will provide a more specific assessment of what a European response might be, to ensure that Europe remain among the leading regions of the world in the age of digital communications.

What are the strengths that Europe could leverage on? What are the actions to be taken by European industry to (re)gain global leadership in ICT? And what is the role of policy-makers to foster supply and demand of next generation ICT in Europe?
