SUMMARY:DIGITAL SME summit 2026: Breaking Europe's Digital Frontiers
DESCRIPTION:At a time when tech sovereignty has evidently become a strategic priority for Europe, the challenge is ensuring that sovereign digital technologies are widely adopted. Against a backdrop of geopolitical fragmentation and rapid technological change, the DIGITAL SME summit will bring together policymakers, innovative SMEs and industry leaders on 16 November 2026 at the European Economic and Social Committee in Brussels to address a key question: how can Europe make homegrown digital solutions the default choice and help European companies scale globally? Join a full day of policy discussions, including AI adoption, cybersecurity, digital competitiveness and international partnerships, as well as business-oriented sessions to exchange ideas on driving forward Europe’s vision for a sovereign and competitive digital future. The 2026 edition will also host the DIGITAL SME Awards, recognising Europe's most innovative SMEs in tech sovereignty, sustainability and digital skills.
