On 25 March this year, EU member states agreed on a Union-wide Connectivity Toolbox, a report of best practices that they consider as the most efficient in allowing and encouraging operators to roll out very high-capacity networks, including full-fibre broadband.

The deployment of fibre often requires costly civil works to lay cables and network elements, as well as potentially burdensome administrative procedures to obtain the necessary permits. The Connectivity Toolbox contains best practices to cut these costs, to promote access to physical infrastructure and to streamline permit granting procedures.

This interactive webinar will look at the extent to which the measures proposed in the Connectivity Toolbox can address this situation and accelerate progress. It will look at the path ahead to ensure that the economic, social and environmental benefits of fibre can be felt as soon as possible.
