DESCRIPTION:The EIF breakfast debate, chaired by MEP Lina Galvez, will bring together Members of the European Parliament and Internet governance experts to reflect on the recently held IGF and look forward to key milestones in the Internet governance space expected in 2025. This event will start with a review of the IGF Parliamentary Track, highlighting its outcomes and practical applications, followed by a presentation on strategic priorities for the IGF. A critical focus will be the WSIS+20 Review process, where speakers will outline its timeline, its importance for the Internet governance ecosystem, and opportunities for influence, while encouraging parliamentarians to share their initiatives and perspectives. An interactive discussion will provide attendees the opportunity to exchange ideas and ask questions. The event shall conclude with the identification of next steps and opportunities to foster cooperation in preparation for the WSIS+20 Review Process.
