Michal Boni MEP opens EIF debate on ePrivacy

This EIF breakfast explored as to whether the co-existence of the General Data Protection regulation and a revised e-privacy Directive is feasible or whether it creates unnecessary overlap and legal uncertainty. It was also discussed how new services including context aware computing and OTT technology should be regulated in order not to stifle innovation while preserving consumer trust.
