#EIFAsks: How is Europe going to become the largest market for connected cars?


Connected and automated driving are prominent features on the policy agenda today even if it may be some time before they become a reality in the EU. They bring with them important issues ranging from regulation and infrastructure to societal issues regarding the security and safety of citizens and the extent of human reliance on connectivity overall.

On Tuesday 25 April, EIF & Pilar del Castillo MEP and EIF Chair debated on connected cars. Participants tackled questions such as collaboration within the telecoms industry, user expectations or the challenges for car manufacturers.
