Gianpiero Lotito is Founder & CEO of FacilityLive and President of the European Tech Alliance (EUTA). The alliance mainly includes scaleups that were born or built in Europe and are independent business units or organisations headquartered in Europe with a European identity.

With patents in 45 Countries, over 40 Million Euros of private capital raised from 100 shareholders, a company valuation of 225 Million Euros, a real paradigm shift in the human-machine relation for the access to information, it is one of the most innovative European tech platforms.
FacilityLive, in collaboration with the European Commission, is founding partner of Startup Europe Mediterranean, the newest network of the Startup Europe initiative of the European Commission. FacilityLive is the first non-UK company ever admitted to the London Stock Exchange’s ELITE Programme and in 2017 it designed for the Italian Presidency the official Web App and Search for the public website of G7 Italy.
Gianpiero is an innovative entrepreneur with a past prestigious career as musician who has been working for more than 30 years with Mariuccia Teroni, Founder & Chair of FacilityLive, on pioneering projects for the technology world applied to content.
He was Adjunct Professor of Multimedia Publishing at the University of Milan and is currently Adjunct Professor of Digital Entrepreneurship at the Master in Digital Innovation and Entrepreneurship of the University of Pavia in cooperation with FacilityLive.
On October 2nd 2018, he was the first non-politician Italian invited to speak at the General Assembly of the United Nations in New York in more than 20 years. In 2016, he was chosen as the Innovative Entrepreneur to represent Italy at the European Council for Competitiveness held in Amsterdam. In 2015, he received the Gold Medal of the city of Pavia for his contribution to technology innovation.
Since 2014 Gianpiero has been Ambassador of projects of the European Commission focusing on the modernisation of industry and the promotion of digital skills and entrepreneurship, and speaker at prestigious events in the academic, scientific and business spheres.
He is author of books and articles on technology for major Italian publishers, and he is often invited for interviews on famous TV and radio shows, and in the press by prestigious global media outlets such as: BBC World News, CNN, Su?ddeutsche Zeitung, Daily Telegraph, CNBC Global, SKY News, France Info, RAI, Mediaset, POLITICO, Huff Post, Corriere della Sera and Repubblica.
He is a regular speaker at international events such as the European Business Summit, Rimini Meeting, Startup Europe Summit, Digital Venice, Pisa Internet Festival, the Single Market Forum organized by the European Commission, and at the European Parliament, European Internet Forum, London Stock Exchange and TEDx.
