The development of audiovisual media services in the European Union must take into consideration the protection of the general interests of all European citizens including the most vulnerable. The Audiovisual Media Services Directivecontains specific rules to protect minors. This rule has been supplemented by the 1998 and 2006 Recommendations on the protection of minors and human dignity. Nevertheless, protection of children in the digital world, still needs to be re-discuss in order to ensure a safe and healthy environment.

In this context, iCmedia have the pleasure to invite you to the Conference “How to protect our children in a digital environment?” co-organized by the Members of the European Parliament Anna Maria Corazza Bildt and Santiago Fisas Ayxelà.
