Innovations in healthcare delivery – digital change

Lunch debate

Digitisation has a huge potential of transforming society for the better. This is particularly the case in healthcare. The debate will provide insights and real life examples of how digitisation is impacting European healthcare.

We will start by looking at Bertelsmann Stiftung’s Digital Health Index which ranks some EU Member States according to policy activity, digital health readiness and actual use of data in the healthcare system. The Dutch Heart Foundation will share how digital solutions – like AI technological innovation in the field of diagnostic and disease management - can benefit people suffering from cardiovascular disease. Informations analytics company Elsevier will illustrate how clinical decision support solutions can help doctors, nurses and multi-disciplinary teams in both hospital and primary care settings to deliver better healthcare outcomes, through the use of evidence-based content, knowledge engineering, patient datasets, and advanced analytics/AI.
