The Athens Roundtable on Artificial Intelligence and the Rule of Law, co-founded in 2019 by The Future Society and ELONtech under the patronage of the Presidency of the Hellenic Republic, is the premier international, multi-stakeholder gathering on artificial intelligence (AI), legal systems and functions, regulatory compliance, and the rule of law. The Roundtable seeks to protect and advance human rights, innovation and the democratic order through international dialogue and cooperation on policy, practice, capacity-building, and evidence-based instruments for the trustworthy adoption of AI in industry, government and society. In addition, the Roundtable seeks to spur and co-produce initiatives with real-world practical impact for the private and public sectors at a global scale.
