As Europe enters a decisive implementation phase, the EU Digital Summit 2026 will focus on one central question: how to turn the EU’s digital rulebook into real world outcomes for competitiveness, investment, productivity and trust. After a decade of major initiatives across AI, data, platforms, cybersecurity and digital markets, the challenge is no longer ambition, but delivery, with coherent enforcement, legal certainty and practical simplification that keeps the Single Market workable and innovation scalable.
The Summit will bring together policymakers, regulators, industry and finance to address the key barriers to execution. Discussions will focus on scaling cloud and compute capacity amid energy and permitting constraints, moving from pilots to productivity in data and AI, strengthening trust, safety and openness in platform governance, and boosting cybersecurity and geopolitical resilience.
