This lunch debate, organised by eco – Association of the Internet Industry and led by the eco Competence Group Mobility, will bring together representatives from the automotive sector, technology companies, cybersecurity experts and policymakers. 

The discussion will explore:

  • the implications of quantum computing for current encryption methods;
  • the security of connected and autonomous vehicles;
  • post-quantum approaches for V2X communication and mobility infrastructure;
  • the role of artificial intelligence in cybersecurity and mobility systems;
  • the mobility industry’s readiness for post-quantum cryptography;
  • the impact of the Cyber Resilience Act, NIS2 and UNECE vehicle regulations;
  • and opportunities for closer cooperation between industry, policymakers and research.
