Cloud Computing, an emerging and quickly spreading technology which is transforming the way information is provided and accessed through the Internet, has become a widely-used term to designate and encompass a wide range of new service delivery models.

The discussion will also address the regulatory framework which is needed to foster cloud computing in Europe (with a focus on privacy/security issues) and what the EU R&D priorities in cloud computing should be.
