Digital inclusion is critical for young people in terms of providing them with future skills, access to education and enabling them to socially connect. However, in order to do this children’s online safety is an issue of global importance. This event will bring together speakers with a variety of expertise and knowledge to explore how children’s rights can be protected online and explore the challenges that are faced by all relevant stakeholders to do this successfully.

The EIF and our host, MEP Sippel, anticipate a collaborative discussion during which participants will explore new ideas, tools, and opportunities for potential common solutions that prioritise children’s rights within a free, open, and secure Internet.
