A technologically developed Europe raises new challenges for justice. A world of Internet, automatic toll payment, e-banking, global access to information and services bring new demands to which European justice must provide an effective answer.

At a breakfast discussion on 5 December the Portuguese Secretary of State for Justice, addressed EIF members and guests on the challenges ahead for a truly efficient and reliable electronic justice.
