
Leonardo Camiciotti is Executive Director of the TOP-IX Consortium, where he shares general management responsibilities and directly leads the Development Program, which fosters the creation of new businesses by providing infrastructure support (e.g. Internet connectivity, cloud computing resources, product prototyping) and develops deep-tech innovation projects in areas such as Interconnection, Big Data, High Performance and Cloud Computing, etc. Over the years, he has served as a mentor in international startup acceleration programs including SeedCamp, Techstars, and Mind The Bridge, supporting the growth of innovation ecosystems across Europe and beyond. Within the Fulcrum Project, which addresses key challenges in the cloud computing market by promoting a federated and collaborative approach, he serves as President of the InterCloud Exchange Foundation ETS and as a Board Member of Computing Exchange Market Srl. He gained international experience in R&D, strategy, and business development at Philips Corporate Research. He holds a degree in Electronic Engineering from the University of Florence and an MBA from the University of Turin.
