Guillaume Roty is the Head of Unit for Standards Policy of the Directorate General for internal market and industrial policy of the European Commission (DG GROW) since July 2025. Prior to this experience, he was deputy head of unit of the Public Investments unit of DG GROW, where he worked on mobilising and aligning EU and national investments to support EU industrial priorities. Prior to joining DG GROW, Guillaume has been working for DG Competition and as the spokesperson of the European Commission in France. 

He holds a master’s degree in engineering from Ecole des Mines de Paris and a Master of Internal Affairs from the School of Internal and Public Affairs of Columbia University in New York City.
