Yana is leading the AI and Cybersecurity policy work at IBM’s Government and Regulatory Affairs Europe team. Based in Brussels, she is responsible for political, legislative, regulatory and administrative dimensions of AI policy and Cybersecurity policy. Before joining IBM in 2023, she worked at the European Government Affairs team of Microsoft. She previously worked at think tanks covering broader foreign and security policy issues as well as geopolitical impact of digital technologies. She is an issue co-lead for at the Digital Economy Committee and a Chair of the Ukraine Task Force at the American Chamber of Commerce to the European Union. Yana is a member of two working groups supporting the drafting of the EU Code of Practice on AI Transparency obligations on behalf of IBM.
