ABOUT

Nathan joined the Assembly in 2020 as Director of the Committee on Democracy and Security (CDS). 

Prior to joining the Assembly, between 2015 and 2020, he worked for the Organization for Security and Co-operation in Europe (OSCE) in various positions in Kosovo and Ukraine. Previously, Nathan worked for NATO as well as United Nations agencies and related entities, such as the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA), the Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO), and the High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR). He has also worked for the OSCE Parliamentary Assembly and participated in various election observation missions with the OSCE Office for Democratic Institutions and Human Rights (ODIHR) and the European Union. 

Nathan studied at the Paris Institute of Political Studies (Sciences Po) where he earned a Bachelor’s degree in Political Science in 2008 and a Master’s degree in International Affairs in 2012. He also studied political science and international relations as an exchange student at Harvard University and the Moscow State Institute of International Relations (MGIMO). 

Nathan’s mother tongue is French, he is fluent in English, and has a working knowledge of Russian.
