Philippe Pellé was appointed deputy head of the Retail Financial Services and Consumer Policy Unit in April 2010. He previously held similar positions in DG Internal Market in such policy areas as the fight against money laundering, company law, corporate governance and financial reporting. Prior to joining the European Commission, Philippe, a chartered accountant, spent 5 years in auditing and investment banking in Paris.
