Aleyne leads Samsung Electronic’s Government Relations, Citizenship and Sustainability work in the UK. In the UK, Samsung’s focus is on education citizenship programmes that provide young people with technology skills through schools and colleges and with major cultural institutions, like the British Museum and Royal Albert Hall, and with charity partners, like The Prince’s Trust, of which Aleyne is a Board member of its technology committee.
He is also a member of the UK Government’s Child Internet Safety (UKCCIS) Board, which is chaired by Ministers from three UK Government departments and focuses Government, industry and NGO work in the field of child on-line protection.
Prior to joining Samsung, Aleyne held roles in the technology and telecoms sectors with Vodafone and Orange and, before that, in the financial services sector in the UK and Australasia. He also worked for the British Government.
