Carsten is a Senior Partner at Roland Berger's Frankfurt office since 2008 and supports clients from the telecommunications and technology sector such as telco operators, software OEMs, IT services providers, equipment vendors or device and HW OEMs. He is a recognized expert in corporate development, strategy, growth, innovation, M&A and integration as well as in transformation, cost and performance management. Next to consulting to ICT providers, Carsten focuses on digital transformation across various industries such as automotive, high tech, or engineered products in areas like Internet-of-things, Industry 4.0, or connected cars. From 2004 to 2008 Carsten was Senior Vice President for Corporate Strategy at T-Systems, the B2B and IT division of Deutsche Telekom. Before, he worked several years in strategy consulting. Carsten lectures on the global ICT market at the Frankfurt School of Finance and Management. He holds a Diplom Kaufmann degree of WHU Koblenz after having studied in Vallendar, Brussels and Houston. He lives in Frankfurt / Germany.
