    Orange Silicon Valley

ABOUT

Georges Nahon has led the Orange presence in Silicon Valley for over a decade, and informs his perspective on the magnitude and velocity of change in the crucible of innovation and disruption that is “the Valley.” He drives a multi-disciplinary team of experts consisting of computer scientists, engineers, analysts, economists and designers who, in constant interaction with the local ecosystem, develop or source innovative products and services in the areas of mobile, internet, e-payments, analytics and new television. In addition to that, Georges is the founder and the President of Honor of Orange Institute, and spearheaded the conception and development of Orange’s award winning, first accelerator: Orange Fab. His understanding of the dynamics driving continuous disruption exposes the pervasive nature of this shift, and helps audiences adapt to it as the new normal.

Georges Nahon is also the co-author of the book The Second Life of Networks with Didier Lombard, former CEO of France Telecom-Orange, and holds a Master in Computer Science and Engineering from the Polytechnic Institute in Nancy (France), as well as several patents.  On March 19, 2015, Georges was conferred the distinction of "Knight of the Legion of Honor".
