Chris is External Relations Manager for the RIPE NCC. This role involves engaging the diverse range of RIPE NCC stakeholders, including RIPE NCC members, governments, law enforcement agencies (LEAs), academia and international organisations such as the United Nations, the European Commission, the Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD) and the International Telecommunication Union (ITU). This work is handled by an External Relations team spread across the RIPE NCC service region, including in offices in Amsterdam and Dubai.

Born in Brisbane, Australia, Chris began working for the Asia Pacific Network Information Centre (APNIC) in 2003, before relocating to Amsterdam in 2006 to take up a position with the RIPE NCC. Since 2017 he has also been a member of the EuroDIG Support Association Board.
