Currently, Mr. Tomov is the Chair of Council Working Parties on Industry, Competition and the Internal Market and is also a Member of the Council High Level Group on Competitiveness and Growth.
Mr. Tomov has held various position in policy making and political cabinets in the Government of Bulgaria and has been Chair of Board of Directors of a company with approximately 500 staff.
He has a (PhD) in European Economic Studies on “Development of the Digital Single Market of the EU” and is co-author of Regional Research Paper "Integration of the Western Balkans in the Internal Market".
