Francesco Ronchi is an entrepreneur, born in 1975 in Turin, with a strong technological background. Driven by a great passion for coding since the days of the Commodore 64, he trained as a graphic and photographic technician and holds a degree in Computer Science. Mr. Ronchi has worked as a freelancer with many important organizations in the design, implementation and management of software development projects and, after some entrepreneurial experience, he founded Synesthesia srl in 2011.

Today, as CEO and President of Synesthesia, Mr. Ronchi focuses on long-term strategy and technological development. Under his leadership, Synesthesia has seen rapid and constant growth, working with national and international clients, and has received several prestigious awards, such as the “2015 Chiave a Stella Award”, the Financial Times “FT1000 Europe 2018-19” and “Il Sole 24 ore Leader della Crescita 2019-20”.

Through Synesthesia, Mr. Ronchi has also worked at international events, such as Droidcon Italy, conceived of Swift Heroes, and launched the FuturMakers project, dedicated to the dissemination of technical and scientific knowledge for children and young people. Now, in the wake of COVID-19, Mr. Ronchi has launched FuturMakers@Home, offering free weekly online training sessions to children, as well as Synesthesia Academy which, in partnership with Rekordata, has created a series of free online seminars for municipal educators and teachers.
