Jo Stark is an experienced leader in international executive and management positions over 30 years in IBM, across Services, Hardware and Software Development.
In his current role, he is leading IBM DACH’s contributions to the European GAIA-X initiative and is supporting clients from Public Sector on the transformation to digital processes, analytics and hybrid cloud-based solutions.
His career started 1986 at IBM’s Development Laboratory in Boeblingen, Germany. He held numerous international executive and management positions with a focus on technology infused business innovation in areas like Digital Media, Public Safety & Videoanalytics, Identity Management & Threat Analysis, as well as Analytics and Cognitive solutions.
Jo held worldwide positions in Sales and Business Strategy during two international assignments to IBM’s Corporate Headquarter in NY, USA 1998-2000 and 2010-2012.
A graduate of University of Karlsruhe, Germany, Jo Stark holds a master's degree in Mathematics, and post-graduate studies in business management from Business School, Erftstadt, Germany.
