Philippe Lucas is Executive Vice President, Customer Equipment & Partnerships of Orange. He has overall responsibility for the Group’s portfolio of devices in 27 markets.

Under his leadership, he is accelerating the Group’s innovation in consumer mobile & IoT by developing business and partnerships with a broad range of incumbents and new technology partners to drive Orange products and digital services worldwide.

Previously, he was Senior Vice President, Strategy, Architecture & Standardisation of Orange, where he led the technical standards activity for the Group and to ensure alignment with industry bodies, global operators, and vendors’ ecosystems.

Philippe is a member of the Technology Group of the GSMA; Chair of eSIM GSMA activity; Chair of Standardisation & Innovation Committee of the French Federation of Telecommunication, and he is one of the founders of the Open Mobile Alliance.

He has been granted more than 20 patents in the field of engineering and cellular network technologies over the past 25 years.

Philippe holds a Master of Science in Digital Signal Processing from the École Polytechnique of Grenoble, and is married with three lovely children.
