After graduating in Political Sciences at the University of Pisa, she earned a Master’s degree, in Journalism and Mass Media at Luiss University in Rome. She has worked in commercial television since 1977, starting as General Secretary of FIEL, the first association of “free” broadcasters. She then became Director of FRT – the Federation of Radio and Television Operators – before joining the FININVEST GROUP in 1990 as Head of Relations with Industrial Associations. Currently at MEDIASET, she holds the position of Director of Institutional and Legal Affairs and Strategic Analysis. In June 2018 she has been confirmed Member of the Board of Directors of Mediaset S.p.A., and Member of the Executive Committee. In April 2018 she has been appointed Director of Mediaset España Comunicación S.A.. In February 2020 she was appointed as Member of the Board of Mediaset Italia S.p.A.. In June 2020 she has been confirmed Deputy Chairman of R.T.I. S.p.A.. In June 2020 she has been confirmed Member of the Board of PUBLITALIA’80 S.p.A.. She was a member of the Board of Directors of the CONSULTATION COMMITTEE OF BORSA ITALIANA. She is a Member of the General Council of CONFINDUSTRIA and ASSOLOMBARDA. She is member of the President's Committee of the Master in Marketing, Digital Communication and Sales Management di PUBLITALIA.. She is a Member of the Board of Directors of Class CNBC S.p.A.. From 2000 to 2005, she was a member of the Board of Directors of ALBACOM S.p.A with a Mediaset share. Since June 2019 she was appointed Deputy Chair of CERRE (Centre on Regulation in Europe). She is a regular contributor to panels and working groups organised by the European Commission on matters concerning Protection of Minors, also on the Internet, Media Pluralism, Disinformation, Radio Spectrum Management, Copyright, Digital Markets and Services Regulation. On 27 December 2012 she was awarded the title "Commendatore dell’Ordine al Merito della Repubblica Italiana" (Commander of the Order of Merit of the Italian Republic).
