Maarit has nearly 20 years expertise in telecoms, digital and internet matters gained through different professional roles in government relations, business development and consultancy. Since 2019, she leads ETNO’s work on telecommunications regulation, spectrum, competition policy and international affairs. Maarit joined ETNO from the Internet Society, where she acquired extensive links with global internet and technical community. Previously, Maarit held various public sector business development roles at Cisco Systems. She has also developed a strong service-oriented, hands-on profile while working on technology policy issues in leading Brussels-based consultancies.
