MEP Romana Jerkovic is a Croatian politician and a Doctor of Medicine, Doctor of Philosophy in Biomedical Sciences, and a professor. She is a member of the Committee on Industry, Research and Energy, of the Delegation to the EU-Albania Stabilisation and Association Parliamentary Committee, and a substitute on the Environment, Public Health and Food Safety Committee, Special Committee on the COVID-19 pandemic, and Delegation to the EU-Russia Parliamentary Cooperation Committee.

MEP Jerkovic is passionate about social justice, sustainability, and equality as well as the regulations of industries and the environment.

She has been a member of the European Parliament since 2016.
