ABOUT

Dr Caterina Molinari works as a policy officer for the European Commission. She is a member the Unit responsible for Safety in the Digital Age. She is also a visiting professor of EU law at the University Saint Louis in Brussels.

Before joining the Commission in January 2022, Caterina was a researcher and teaching assistant at the Institute for European Law of the KU Leuven. She had previously worked in international law firms in Rome and Brussels, as well as in the Legal Service of the European Commission as a Blue Book Trainee.

Caterina qualified as a lawyer in Italy in 2017. She obtained her PhD in EU law from KU Leuven in 2022. She also holds a master’s degree in law from LUISS Guido Carli University (Rome), an LL.M. in International Law and Justice from Fordham Law School (New York), and a Master in European Legal Studies from the College of Europe (Bruges).
