Ben Brooks champions new rules for new technology in high-stakes domains. Today, Ben leads public policy for Stability AI – a global company making foundational AI technology accessible to all.

Previously, Ben has worked on the ground in 23 countries, driving complex reforms everywhere from Hanoi to Helsinki, Mandalay to Melbourne, Tokyo to Tel Aviv, and London to Lagos. At Wing (Google X), Ben worked to scale the world's most advanced drone delivery service across three continents, navigating safety-critical reforms for automated vehicles and airspace management. At Uber, Ben established the platform’s regulatory advocacy function, accelerating the safe, fair, and durable reform of a 400 year-old industry in cities around the world. At Coinbase, Ben partnered with the Chief Policy Officer to develop the firm’s long-term vision for digital asset technology in Web 3.0 against the challenging backdrop of decentralized finance and evolving securities law.

Ben is based in San Francisco, and holds degrees in law and history from the University of Sydney.
