Gianluca Violante joined DIGITALEUROPE as a Senior Manager for Digital Health Policy.

He primarily focuses on the implementation of the European Health Data Space (EHDS) Regulation, as well as horizontal legislation that impacts the health sector.

Before joining DIGITALEUROPE, he briefly worked at MedTech Europe focusing on a wide range of issues, including regulatory and reimbursement policy. Before that, he worked for several years at FTI Consulting, advising healthcare clients on digital health and data governance legislation and policy.

Gianluca holds an MSc in Political Theory from the London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE) and a BA in International Relations and Spanish from the University of Exeter. He also more recently completed a certificate course in Data: Law, Policy and Regulation at the LSE.
