Accelerating digital transformation on both sides of the Atlantic and around the world has unquestionably become the single most powerful underlying driver of change across our societies and economies. No community, no sector, no sphere of human endeavour is immune, and there is no opting out.
Moreover, we are just at the beginning of the real-world digital revolution. There can therefore be no decisive progress toward a fully functioning XXIst century partnership between the United States and Europe without a common - or at least interoperable - “digital transformation” policy framework.
The publication ‘Re-launching the Transatlantic Partnership - The Digital Dimension’ is EIF’s contribution to the project ‘Towards Transatlantic Partnership: New Horizons 2020’, initiated by the Transatlantic Policy network (TPN) in an effort to generate ideas to shape a vision for the Transatlantic Partnership in the 21st Century.
EIF’s publication ‘Re-launching the Transatlantic Partnership - The Digital Dimension’ will be presented by the author, Peter Linton (EIF Senior Advisor) on 17th October in the European Parliament. A discussion with prominent guests and present participants will follow.
