Satellite technologies are becoming more important in Europe and worldwide, driven by innovation and new market players. They complement terrestrial networks by extending coverage, improving resilience, supporting critical services, and strengthening European sovereignty and strategic autonomy.

With important developments expected in 2026, including the Digital Networks Act (DNA), the EU Space Act, progress on IRIS², and the MSS licence renewal process, this event comes at a very relevant moment. The discussion will be a good opportunity to discuss the satellites aspects of the DNA, while also looking at key issues such as licensing, resilience, and emerging technologies.
